"Both me and Kim had to learn how to communicate as a team," West recently told GQ magazine.

"These are two LeBrons, you know? Meaning she could do s--- that a girlfriend in a relationship could never do. Obviously. And I could do stuff that a guy in a relationship could never do," he went on.

The couple began dating in 2012 following Kardashian's 2011 divorce from Kris Humphries and they got engaged last year.

"So if you look at half my tweets back then, they were always, like, funny tweets that I wouldn't be able to say now. It wouldn't be respectful to my relationship," he explained.

"It's interesting as I'm delving into being married," he added.

Kardashian, who shares a one-year-old daughter North with West, recently revealed that part of what makes their union so special is their mutual respect for one another.

"I feel as though we'll always be in the honeymoon period," Kardashian recently told Daily Mail U.K.

"We always say we really like to treat each other like it's our birthday," she went on "I try to treat him like it's his birthday every single day. I think we'll always be like that."

West revealed that the E! star has taught him a lot about himself and he believes everyone can benefit from learning her "skills."

"What I had to learn from Kim is how to take more of her advice and less of other people's advice," he said.

"There's a lot of Kim K. skills that were added. In order to win at life, you need some Kim K. skills," he added.
