Kanye West, Taylor Swift Feud: Rapper Questions Why Singer Won Grammy

More than four years after insulting Taylor Swift on stage during the MTV Awards, Kanye West once again implied that the country singer is undeserving of winning an award during a performance in London.

West went on a rant about the music business, big corporations, and the government mid-concert last Saturday while performing at London's Hammersmith Apollo. In part of the rant, West questioned why Taylor Swift beat Beyonce for a Grammy award.

Swift was nominated and won a Grammy for "Best Song Written for Visual Media." Beyonce was not nominated in that category, although she was on the nominee list for "Best Traditional R&B Performance," which she won.

But West still suggested that Swift had taken an award that Beyonce was more deserving of.

"Taylor Swift beat Beyonce at the Grammys? Beyonce be dancing in heels and s---," the rapper said on stage.

In 2009 Swift won an MTV award for "Best Female Video." Beyonce had also been nominated in the category. While Swift was in the middle of making her acceptance speech, West stormed on stage, snatched the mic, and told the crowd that Swift didn't deserve the award.

"Yo Taylor. I'm really happy for you, I'm going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time," he said, pointing at Beyonce in the audience.

During his concert rant, in addition to questioning Swift's Grammy win, West also referenced the incident and questioned why people had called him "crazy."

"And everybody thought I was so crazy. Am I the only one who is not crazy?" he asked.

West also questioned music artists who make money off of endorsements for beverages and said he had no regard for what President Obama had to say.

"I hate business people," said West. "Since when was making art about getting rich?" he asked the crowd.
