Kardashians Sears Full Front Page Ad Angers LA Times Readers

Some seem to have had enough of the Kardashian clan, who have been heavily promoting their Sears clothing line recently.

Los Angeles Times readers recently spoke out about a large advertisement on the front page of the newspaper. The Kardashian sisters appeared in a four-page advertisement that evoked reactions from readers of the newspaper who have had their fill of the reality television stars.

The Times provided a sample of some calls and emails that they received as a result of the Kardashian advertisement.

"I was disappointed to see the Kardashians on the front page of the Los Angeles Times. At first I wasn't sure what story about them would be so important as to be front page NEWS,” Manny Rodriguez said, according to the posting on the Times’ website. “Of course it was just an ad. The front page of newspapers should continue to be about news. I'm very offended by this type of display, and I hope The Times’ journalistic integrity will win over this kind of insult."

Some felt the sisters’ front page spot made the renowned newspaper lose credibility.

"Today's fake front page with the Kardashians on it was horrifying. I opened my front door and was greeted by them in all their leopard splendor,” Cinzia Zanetti’s comment read on the website. “I know it is just an ad, but honestly! You are losing credibility by pulling such cheap stunts."

Los Angeles is not the only city that has had their fill of the Kardashians. The video of a Philadelphia Fox news anchor making fun of the Kardashian sisters recently went viral.

Mike Jerrick, Fox news anchor, made fun of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian when they appeared on the Philadelphia Fox 29 morning show recently for a video about their brand new Sears clothing line. Jerrick mimicked the sisters’ protruding shoulder pad design and high-pitched voices.

Despite the criticism taking place, Kim managed to type positive tweets, including thanking her critics.

“I appreciate you,” Kardashian tweeted on her personal page. “Hate on haters!”
