A Karl Malone rant at Louisiana Tech has created waves on Sunday. The former Laker, who attended Louisiana Tech, took to his Twitter account on Sunday to air his rant after his school missed out on a bowl game following various controversial decisions.

Louisiana Tech seemingly had a place guaranteed after receiving an invitation to the Independence Bowl. However, some have accused the school of being greedy, after it initially held off accepting the invitation to see if they could get an invitation to a more lucrative bowl.

That obviously ruffled some feathers among the organizers of the Independence Bowl, and after Louisiana failed to be invited for the bowl they had been hoping for, the Independence Bowl notified them that their invitation was now invalid.

That decision obviously has got some hot under the collar at Louisiana Tech, but many are saying their approach was disrespectful to the Independence Bowl and that what happened serves them right.

Malone indeed was not happy at all.

He took to his social media account to rant to his fans, saying: "I am Bulldog to the core. I am heartbroken and embarrassed that our university would do this to Tech Nation."

He added, "To our football and staff this is exactly what is wrong with our university."

He concluded by saying, "Now it's time to get former athletes to run our program. I'm 6-9 and not hard to find."
