Kate Gosselin has reported that she is ready to find love, but fears finding it will be difficult. The reality television star and mother of eight discussed relationships with Ann Curry on the “Today Show” Monday.

“There are a lot of obstacles for me. The odds of me bumping into someone are rare,” Gosselin told Curry.

Gosselin shared that her children want her to remarry: “I’m hoping that person is out there, because the kids on a daily basis are just begging me to get married again. They bring it up all the time.”

Nearly two years have passed since Gosselin and ex-husband Jon starred on TLC’s “Jon and Kate Plus 8.”

“I’m not going to lie, it’s really setting in now two years later being a single mom of eight kids,” she said. “It’s difficult. I’ve had a lot of difficult moments and stressful moments, and you’re going to see it (on Kate Plus 8), the good, the bad, and the ugly.”

TLC will play new episodes of the hit show “Kate Plus 8” through September 12, Monday through Friday.

Rumors of the show being canceled were addressed on the “Today” show.

“Nobody has told me. We will do it as long as people are watching,” said Gosselin.

“There’s been a lot of fans and supporters who have continued to watch us through good and through bad and I just have to take this opportunity to say thank you,” she told viewers.

In a recent recording of “Kate Plus 8” in Washington, D.C., Gosselin and her family visited Georgetown Cupcakes. During the episode, the mother of 10-year-old twins and 7-year-old-sextuplets offered a sweet treat to a “cute” male passing by the shop.
