Kate Hudson Reunites With Fiancé Amid Breakup Rumors

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy silenced rumors of a breakup when they were spotted out looking happy together over the weekend.

The couple have been engaged since 2011 and share a son, Bingham, together, but reports arose last month suggesting that a break up was near. Despite the speculation, Hudson and Bellamy appeared in high spirits while dressed casually in Los Angeles on Friday, according to People.com.

According to previous reports, Hudson and Bellamy cannot agree on living together in Australia. During Christmastime, Hudson missed her mother Goldie Hawn's annual Christmas getaway in Aspen in order to spend time with Aussie native Bellamy. Since returning to the U.S., the actress has not been spotted with Muse rocker at all. Furthering rumors that Hudson's relationship with Bellamy was "on the rocks," the actress attended several events without wearing her engagement in recent months.

"Kate and Matt have been on the rocks for some time," a source close to the pair told People.com. "They're not in a great place."

Notwithstanding, the source close to Hudson and Bellamy said that the pair are not necessarily breaking up, and that they are still living together.

"Kate is not giving up," the insider added.

Meanwhile, it comes as no surprise that Hudson and Bellamy have still not tied the knot after over three years together. The "How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days" star explained that "planning a wedding is a lot."

"I mean, I did a movie about planning a wedding and that was a lot, let alone actually planning a wedding! So no, not anytime soon, no," the actress said while on "Kelly and Michael Live!"

Despite the lull in planning, Hudson previously revealed that her 10-year-old son Ryder [from an earlier relationship] wants Bellamy as a stepfather, and that she will indeed marry the Muse front man.

"We will get married," the actress told Elle U.K. "I do think it is important, but we have no plans. [Ryder] wants a party. For me, it's not the legal part that is important, it's what it means to the family."
