Kate Middleton Due Date, Twins Rumor Ruled Out; Baby Girl on the Way?

Prince William and Kate Middleton made an appointment last week with the royal gynecologist, Dr. Alan Farthing, for ultrasound scans and other necessary pregnancy-related tests. As confirmed, the Duchess of Cambridge is due to deliver her second baby April next year.

According to the official announcement from the Royal Palace, Kate is now past the 12-week point although she still experiencing hyperemisis gravidarium.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015," the statement read. "The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."

Taking hints from the use of "baby" in the full statement, the media outlet ruled out the possibility of the couple having twins. The twin babies speculation started off right after the Royal Family officially confirmed Kate's pregnancy in September.

The due date, as also indicated, would also come close the Prince and Duchess's fourth wedding anniversary. They tied the knot on April 29 at Westminster Abbey.

Meanwhile, a report from Celeb Dirty Laundry pointed out the sex of the baby. They reported that the royal couple could be conceiving a baby girl.

"As they rushed to their waiting car smiling from ear to ear, Will clutched a yellow envelope that no doubt contained a confirmation of the sex of their unborn baby," the website said.

"Sources have confirmed that the reason Kate and Will were so ecstatic when they were leaving the clinic was because sources say that Dr. Alan Farthing confirmed to them they were having a daughter, yes a baby girl," CDL continued.
