Kate Middleton Expecting Baby Boy? Duchess Shops for Blue Nursery

Kate Middleton was recently photographed shopping for a baby nursery and a new report suggests the Duchess was fixated on a blue theme, raising further questions about the sex of her unborn child.

On June 4 Milldeton, who is just weeks away from giving birth to a royal heir, was seen entering London's Bernard Thorp store in London where she reportedly looked at a selection of fabrics for the nursery. A source reportedly told Eonline.com that the Duchess of Cambridge picked out blue prints for the walls and drapes, which has fueled speculation that she and Prince William are expecting a boy.

Middleton, 31, reportedly shopped for 40 minutes in the store alongside her personal assistant. One source described her as "lovely."

"Kate was fascinated by all the designs and picked out two. She had very definite ideas about what she liked," a source told the Daily Star U.K.

"It was boiling hot outside so the door was open to cool down but she was feeling the heat so we sat her down with a glass of water. The Duchess was charming and so lovely," the source said. "She didn't put on any airs or graces. She said she'd got so many ideas after coming in."

Middleton is said to be preparing two baby nurseries, one being based in the cottage she allegedly shares with William, 30, on the grounds of Kensington Palace. The other is reportedly in the 20-room apartment that is being renovated for the royal couple.

After giving birth to her first child, Middleton will reportedly move in with her parents, Carole and Michael, temporarily at the Middleton family's Georgian manor.

"Kate says she 'just feels safest and most secure' with her family and believes that no one could be better placed to teach her about bringing up a baby than her mother, who has three children of her own," Daily Mail royal correspondent Rebecca English reported, quoting an unnamed source.
