Kate Middleton, Prince William Invite Select Few to Baby George 'Private' Christening

Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing for the christening of their son scheduled for October 23 at the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace and reports claim the event will be small and intimate.

The royal couple, who welcomed the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis on July 22, have reportedly invited a select number of guests to attend the christening however some royal family members did not make the cut.

Reports claim that in an effort to keep the service "more personal," only immediate family and close friends have been invited. As a result, William's aunts and uncles, including Princes Andrew and Edward, Edward's wife Sophie of Wessex and Zara Phillips' mum, Princess Anne, were not included on the guest list, according to Daily Mail UK.
