Kate Middleton Shows PDA at Olympics, and Bares Midriff

Kate Middleton has displayed her zeal for sports as well as for her husband during day six of the London 2012 Olympic Games on Thursday.

The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles as she watched Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny, and Sir Chris Hoy of Great Britain win the gold and a new world record in the Men's Team Sprint Track Cycling final.

Standing beside her husband Prince William, the pair embraced as they rejoiced the British victory. The rare contact between the royal couple surprised Middleton's legions of fans.

"Cannot handle the cuteness of Kate Middleton and Prince William," posted E! News on their Twitter account.

"How adorable is the royal couple," asked Jane, while OK! Magazine wrote on Twitter: "Kate and Wills' royal cuddles are making us feel all warm and gooey."

Wearing black-belted jeans and a short collared sports top, the Duchess' display of affection for Prince William also revealed her toned midriff. She also lifted her arms during the Olympic event, further disproving rumors of her pregnancy by flashing her flat stomach.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended several events at the London Olympics together, and although they are not yet expecting a child, the pair appear to be happy and in love.

On Monday, the royal couple along with Prince Harry watched as Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter Zara Phillips earned a silver medal during the equestrian cross-country Olympic event.

Moreover, the royal trio watched the Olympic hockey event on Friday, and is sure to attend more in the coming weeks.

The 2012 Summer Games began July 27 and will continue until Aug. 13. As of Thursday, the U.S. has won the following Olympic medals:

-Gold in women's eight rowing
-Gold in women's 78kg judo
-Gold in women's 200-meter breaststroke
-Gold in men's 200-meter breaststroke
-Bronze in men's 200-meter backstroke
-Gold in men's 200 IM
-Silver in men's 200-meter IM
