Kate Winslet Says Press 'Isn't Very Nice' About Her Son Bear
Kate Winslet revealed that she was "baffled" over the reactions people had to news of her marriage to Ned Rocknroll and their son, Bear.
The Oscar Award-winning actress referred to the negative press reports that followed news of her third marriage and pregnancy last year, noting that they were "not very nice."
"No one has a right to comment on anyone's life or the choices I do or don't make," Winslet defended while speaking to Glamour U.K.

"It's very easy to be judgmental until you know someone's truth," the 38-year-old star added. "People have no idea at all. It baffles me, truly, that you can publicly treat a person like that. It's not very nice."
Winslet made international headlines after her surprise wedding to Rocknroll last Christmas. Then, last month, the couple welcomed a son, Bear. The baby joins Winslet's two children, Mia and Joe, from two prior marriages.
Rocknroll, who is the nephew of billionaire Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, was born Abel Smith, but had his name legally changed. Due to Rocknroll's unusual last name, many of Winslet's critics questioned whether the actress would give her newborn son Bear the same last name.
"We haven't ever really had that conversation," Winslet said, clearing up the speculation while speaking to Glamour.
"Mia and Joe have [Winslet] as part of their name, so it would be weird if this baby didn't," she added. "Of course we're not going to call it Rocknroll. People might judge al they like, but I'm a f----- grown-up."
As for getting back into shape after having delivered baby Bear, Winslet curtly replied, "Having just had a baby, I'm not going to be thinking about my arse."
Meanwhile, the "Mildred Pierce" star is not the only celebrity to select the unique moniker of Bear for her son. Actress Alicia Silverstone also opted for the name when her firstborn son arrived in 2011.
