Katy Perry dismissed rumors concerning a pending divorce from husband Russell Brand, and the singer announced on Twiiter that her life is not a soap opera.

"First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I All My Children?!" tweeted the star on Wednesday.

Just last week the couple was spotted in New York getting tattoos. Perry's ink is a picture of a smiling peppermint candy while Brand got the crest of his favorite English soccer team, West Ham United.

While Perry denies pregnancy rumors, she expressed interest in having children in the future. Perry recently said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" she is not ready to make the commitment yet.

"Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent...But, I'm not sure it's time yet. We'll see," said the singer on the television talk show.

"If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out,” she added.

Perry's latest album, Teenage Dream, debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and the Canadian albums chart. The album went platinum twice.

Perry and Brand started dating in September 2009 and married on Oct. 23, 2010. The couple married in India in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
