Fans have been wondering what the catch is between Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and just as hope for their alleged love has started to die, the singer took to social media and shared the first picture of her with the actor, prompting fans to believe that it was the couple's way of telling the world that they are indeed together.
In the photo, Perry and Bloom are dressed in white robes as they lay sprawled on the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. While the pair weren't touchy or acting like a couple on the hotel steps, many fans and outlets suggest that the picture is the two's method of sounding off that they are officially in a relationship.
On Thursday, the 31-year-old singer and the 39-year-old actor were spotted at the amfAR Cannes Cinema Against AIDS gala. While they were seated on different tables, it is worth noting that Perry was just a step away from Bloom's table.

A source told People that while the pair had been trying to stay formal during the gala, the after-party was so much different as "they were super lovey-dovey the whole night." As expected of the rumored couple, "they were kissing and holding hands and dancing together the entire time," the witness added.
The two have been rumored to be dating ever since they were spotted at a Golden Globes after-party earlier this year. Since then, they have been going out together but have not officially announced their romance.
MTV News reports that the dating stage reportedly began in March. The pair were seen holding hands in Hawaii, though they haven't said anything to the press or online regarding the buzz.
E! News also adds that Perry and Bloom had a PDA-packed day earlier this week before meeting up for lunch with Kate Hudson and Kate Moss. It seems the two won't let the Cannes festivities come in between their budding romance as they were again spotted on Monday sharing a kiss on board a yacht owned by Roman Abramavoch.
