Rumors have been circulating that Katy Perry is pregnant. The rumors have surfaced after she appeared to have a protruding bump at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

Perry has recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with actor and comedian Russell Brand. The New York Post had reported that Perry told her management team that she plans to stall her career for a year to “work on her family.”

Perry also revealed on The Ellen Degeneres Show that she would “love to have children.”

"I think that's one of the reasons you get married," she said on the show. "Especially to the person you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent. But, I'm not sure it's time yet. We'll see, ya know?"

When Perry was asked if she would like many kids, she said: "If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out!”

However, pregnancy rumors have been denied by the singer herself today. She told Hollyscoop at the AMAs, “Hell, no!” about her being pregnant.

She also said in an interview with The Insider’s Kevin Frazier: “I will love drinking alcohol, so [no kids] yet.”

She went on: "I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell, and if you want to make that pregnant, that's your problem."

She also said: "Because there's that saying, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage."
