Ke$ha took to Twitter to update her fans on her recovery from anorexia this week.

On Tuesday, Ke$ha released a message to her fans on Twitter via a friend who posted the message from Ke$ha's official Twitter account.

"[Ke$ha] says, 'THANK YOU. SOOOO MUCH," the message began. "I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!!!"

The singer went on to promise fans that she would make a full recovery.

"I'll be back soon and better than ever," Ke$ha's message read.

The 26-year-old "Right Round" singer is making a comeback after suffering from an eating disorder.

Eating disorders include bulimia, anorexia, and body dysmorphia, which is where the patient is preoccupied with a perceived defect, such as being overweight when they are not.

According to sources close to Ke$ha, the singer suffered from hurtful comments by music producer Dr. Luke, who criticized her weight and even referred to her once as a refrigerator, according to TMZ.

The comments allegedly began after Ke$ha's "Sleazy" tour in 2011 when the singer put on weight during her downtime.

Furthermore, Dr. Luke complained that Ke$ha "looks like a f--- refrigerator" during a music video shoot in 2012.

Consequently, Ke$ha has been trying to part ways with the producer. The singer is also seeking recovery from the negative comments that affected her body image.

In the weeks following Ke$ha's professional treatment, the singer's mother, Pebe Sebert, revealed that the condition nearly killed her daughter.

"I've watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died," Sebert told People.com.

"One time on a conference call, [Ke$ha's former manager David Sonenberg] was screaming, 'You need to lose weight! I don't care what you do … take drugs, not eat, stick your finger down your throat,'" the concerned mother revealed.

Now, Ke$ha has risen above the negative side of the entertainment industry.

"[Ke$ha] doesn't care if she ever makes a record again," Sebert said. "She just wants to be healthy and happy."
