Kelly Osbourne, co-host of the E! Network's "Fashion Police," recently issued a mea culpa for her lavish manicure after hoards of Twitter users blasted her for what they deemed to be an over-indulgent beauty treatment.

The 27-year-old former reality star took to Twitter on Sunday ahead of the 2012 Emmy awards and boasted about getting a $250,000 black diamond manicure for the star-studded occasion.

"About to get a $250k manicure w nail polish made w blk diamonds made by @azature so excited & honored but absolutely shitting myself to have that much money on my nails!" Osbourne tweeted Sunday.

Osbourne then tweeted out an apology on Wednesday after critics condemned the procedure as being over the top, with many referencing the struggling U.S. economy and poverty to illustrate their points.

"I see that my nail polish has offended some of you, however I see your point, but it was a once in a lifetime experience. #MyApologizes," Osbourne tweeted Wednesday. "And please forgive me for not regretting it. it made me feel like a queen!"

Osbourne's apology did little to stop the criticism as many outraged fans proceeded to blast her for the costly indulgence.

"$250K diamond manicure would buy a lot of food somewhere in the world. just sayin' 'misguided beauty treatment' 4 sure," Lana Bortolot ‏ tweeted.

"So Kelly Osbourne got a 250,000 dollar manicure. What a waste of f----- money. Don't get me wrong I love Kelly but really?!?! Charities!" Lilybeth Gomez tweeted.

"I'm sickened by Kelly Osbourne blissfully flaunting a $250,000 manicure while people in this world are starving...how incredibly shallow," Lisa Scordino tweeted.

Osbourne denied paying for the manicure and explained that she was simply "lucky" enough to get it done for free.

"No I did not pay for it. I was just lucky enough to be the one that got picked to wear it," she tweeted.
