Kelly Rowland Grilled About Engagement By Arsenio Hall

Kelly Rowland, the 32-year-old singer formerly of the R&B group Destiny's Child and X Factor host, is finally being questioned about her engagement publicly.

Rowland recently appeared on The Arsenio Hall show where she was grilled about her rumored engagement by the host. When host Arsenio Hall asked Rowland if she was indeed engaged, Rowland did not confirm or deny the rumors that have been bringing her to the forefront of media headlines for weeks.

"You know what I will say? I am very happy and I believe in black love," Rowland told Hall. "I'm so happy."

She is reportedly engaged to her manager who, as Bossip.com has reported, she has dated for years. After flashing the diamond sparkler on social media and in recent pictures, Hall kept pressuring the singer to open up about if the ring on her finger was a mark of her engagement.

"Oh stop it now," Rowland responded when questioned about her ring. "You know how private I am."

A diamond expert previously spoke up about his take on Rowland's alleged engagement ring.

"It's a classic style that we keep seeing more and more of these days! Celebrities are really gravitating towards cushion-cut diamonds because it's the best of both worlds, it's a mix of round and square shapes and it's really taking over," celebrity jewelry expert Michael O'Connor told E! News. "The mounting is very classic with diamonds around the main stone and along the shank, too.The sentiment of a halo setting it that you're the center of the giver's universe, which is appropriate for an engagement ring."

While Rowland has remained quiet about her engagement, sources close to the singer revealed why.

"She has been showing [the ring] off to friends and family and is very happy," sources told Us Weekly. "She wants to…enjoy [it] and celebrate for a bit longer."

Just before it was announced that Rowland was engaged the singer took to her Facebook page to speak about her hopes to find her God-sent man.

"I feel like, it it's suppose to happen, it will happen. God will send me somebody special," Rowland's message written over a picture of herself reads. "Be Patient."
