Kelly Rowland Sheds Tears Talking About Beyonce

Kelly Rowland, the 32-year-old singer, was recently reduced to tears when she spoke about people attempting to cause issues between with her and fellow singer Beyonce Knowles.

While Knowles and Rowland were once fellow group members in Destiny's Child, the pair has also been vocal about their close bond. However, Rowland recently revealed that some people were not interested in seeing the two women get along.

"People wanted those stories for years. I think people wanted those stories for years and that's just so sad on them because it's not like that," Rowland told OMG! Insider recently. "I just think it's so sad we live in a world where people don't want to see women get along and encourage and empower each other. And that's what we do for each other."

The singer broke down in tears when speaking about the current status of her relationship with Knowles,31.

"I love my sister. And she is so incredibly supportive," Rowland said on OMG! Insider between tears. "One of the closest people to me. I love her to death and I love being an aunt."

Rowland was also emotional when she revealed that an abusive relationship affected her friendship with Knowles in the song "Dirty Laundry."

"Started to call them people on him, I was battered / He hit the window like it was me until it shattered," Rowland sang during a Washington, D.C. concert where she broke down in tears recently. "He pulled me out and said 'Don't nobody love you but me not yo mama, not your daddy and especially not Bey / He turned me against my sister, I missed her."

Rowland revealed Knowles reaction to the song.

"She looked at me and she said, 'It's incredible.' She said how proud she was of me," she explained. "And then said, 'I never left.' It was so true. She never left."
