Kelsey Grammer Baby at Playboy Mansion: 'Faith Goes Everywhere With Us'

Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte brought an unusual guest to the Playboy Mansion this weekend: their 3 1/2-month-old daughter. Grammer has since explained the rationale for bringing baby Faith to the party.

"Kayte is breast-feeding, and we do not have a nanny or a trusted babysitter at this time, so Faith goes everywhere with us. We enjoyed the party with a few of our friends; the baby slept as her ears were covered the entire time and we left shortly after midnight," he told E! News.

Baby Faith did, in fact, manage to sleep in her carrier. Photographers were able to capture images of the child, setting off a media frenzy and criticism of Grammer's decision to bring his daughter to the Playboy mansion.

"We enjoyed the evening. We love our child. Kayte is my wife and lady love. The world is round. All our eyes are blue. Happy Halloween and Cock-a-doodle-doo!" Grammer joked.

Faith was born just a few months ago along with her twin brother, who was stillborn. The news devastated Grammer and Kayte, but they have survived the ordeal and now Faith is the center of the world, which may explain why she was at the party. Still, that hasn't stopped the public from offering parental advice to the couple.

"Seriously, you don't have a babysitter, you stay home like other parents have to do," noted E! reader Terri. "So you missed a party at the Playboy Mansion. Some parents actually miss work because of babysitters canceling at the last minute."

"It's not the same as taking a baby to a neighbor's house where she could sleep a few feet away in the bedroom. I've seen pictures of the mansion; it's immense. I'm sure they wouldn't have heard her if she cried. Add to that hundreds of people," added GE.
