Kenya Moore Suing Landlord For False Eviction Story?

Kenya Moore, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" television personality and former Miss USA, is filing a lawsuit against the woman who is trying to evict her.

Moore recently made headlines when her landlady Conya Weems-Dillon alleged that she was being evicted from her six bedroom six bathroom mansion in Fulton County, Ga after owing $848 on her $3999 per month rent.

Moore has claimed that her landlord is wrongfully evicting her and that she has paid the amount of money that she owes. Now Moore is suing her landlord for wrongful eviction, slander and emotional distress, according to TMZ.

According to Moore, Weems-Dillon is spreading false stories about the actress, producer and reality television star for monetary gain, TMZ reported. In her lawsuit, Moore is claiming that she paid both May and June rent in full, and that her landlady has entered the residence without notice.

However, the publication was not successful in obtaining Moore's landlord's side of the story.

When news of Moore reportedly failing to pay her rent made headlines on websites like PerezHilton.com, Moore responded through social media.

"Good morning #teamtwirl! Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see. #twirlonthat," Moore tweeted.

Talk show host Wendy Williams turned to Twitter to question if Moore was indeed in financial trouble that could potentially leave her homeless.

"@KenyaMoore I'll pay the rest of your May rent if you call before the end of the show and explain what's going on with the landlord," Williams tweeted Moore in an attempt to get her to respond to the rumor on her talk show.

Moore chose to respond to the rumors on Twitter while re-tweeting other messages on her personal page.

"@KenyaMoore No landlord can accept partial payments for rent. Obvious that story is a lie. Some1 else looking for their 15 mins," one fan tweeted to Moore in a message that she reposted.
