Khloe Kardashian Defends Rob Kardashian Against Weight Critics

Khloe Kardashian is defending her brother Rob Kardashian from his weight loss critics.

While Rob, 26, has been vocal about not being comfortable with putting on an excessive amount of weight, his older sister Khloe is lashing out at those criticizing his progress or what some may view as a lack thereof.

"People give, especially guys, such a hard time to lose weight, because people expect men to lose weight so much faster," Khloe, 29, said in a recent interview, according to Perez Hilton. "But losing weight in general is so hard and it takes a lot of time and determination. It doesn't happen in one day!"

She went on to speak about Rob specifically.

"He's definitely working on it but it takes time. I'm just happy that he's feeling good about himself. He's on his own."

Rob previously spoke about his struggles with weight gain to Entertainment Tonight.

"Getting healthy...is huge for me," he told ET last October. "I've really just kind of changed my whole lifestyle with taking supplements and working out twice a day."

Still, he admitted that it isn't easy living life in the public eye where people scrutinize him so heavily.

"Honestly, you do not listen to half the things [that are said] 'cause most of the time 90 percent of 'em aren't even true, but it still has an effect on you," he admitted. "Even with myself: People say all these negative things about my weight gain when I'm just trying to fix myself and better myself."

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" co-star spoke about his plans to start making his health a priority.

"All I'm just trying to focus on is my health and just getting back to that happy point," he said. "I feel like people see a lot of unhappy points, which is not me. I just want to get back to the good points. I'm 26 years old; I'm supposed to be enjoying my life."
