Khloe Kardashian: 'Happy Heavier,' Unfazed by 'Shrek' Taunts (VIDEO)

Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she is no longer affected by internet users who criticize her appearance. The reality star now feels "beautiful" and "happy" being on the "heavier" side.

The reality TV star, who Twitter bullies have at times referred to as the "fat Kardashian sister," revealed that while she did previously lose a substantial amount of weight in an attempt to silence her critics, she has since realized that it is wiser to embrace her curves.

"A few years ago I lost 30 pounds, and people still wanted to criticize. And honestly, I'm happy with myself if I'm a little heavier. I realized: 'Why am I trying to conform to someone else's idea of beauty?' I think I'm beautiful either way!" Kardashian told Glamour.

"I'm a little more silly than they are," she went on while comparing her sense of style with that of her sisters Kim and Kourtney. "I like to do designs on the side of my face, or cut out foil stickers from the crafts store and put them on my forehead."

The 28-year-old "X Factor" co-host has always been open about the many struggles of being in the public eye, such as receiving cruel messages from complete strangers who often form harsh judgments about her and her family.

"I got bullied my entire teenage life and always compared to my sisters. I've been asked a million times if I was adopted because I don't look like them and that hurts, especially when you're a teenager," Kardashian previously said in an interview with Barbara Walters.

"People saying to me how I'm the ugly sister or the funny sister. That's what people would be like, 'Kim is gorgeous and Kourtney, you're this and Khloe, you're so funny,'" she went on. "Even when I take pictures with them now I get called an ogre ... The internet is horrible, it can be so negative because they all call me Shrek or an ogre. They are awful to me."
