Kim Kardashian reportedly picked Khloe Kardashian to be baby North West's godmother, reports claim.
The reality TV star, 32, is believed to have asked younger sister, 29, to take on the role of godmother prior to the birth of baby North. Khloe, who has openly struggled with fertility issues in recent years, is already godmother to sister Kourtney's 3-year-old son Mason Disick.
"Khloe will be the godmother," a source previously told HollywoodLife.com.
Baby North, who is fathered by rapper Kanye West, is said to be helping Khloe cope with the ongoing drama surrounding her marriage to Lamar Odom. In recent months the NBA veteran has been mired in controversy over cheating reports and addiction rumors and Kardashian's newborn daughter, whose nickname is Nori, is said to be a pleasant distraction for Khloe.
"Khloe loves visiting Nori," a source told Us magazine. "It's a nice distraction. That little baby can light up any bad situation."
In August West, 36, debuted the first photo of baby North during an appearance on the "Kris Jenner" show and Khloe took to Twitter to gush about her alleged goddaughter.
"My little angel," Khloe tweeted shortly after the East Coast airing of the "Kris Jenner Show." "How gorgeous is North?!?"
Khloe is reportedly still eager to become a mother despite her and Odom's marital woes, and a source claims she is leaning toward adoption. The E! star was reportedly photographed visiting an adoption lawyer in Woodland Hills, Calif. Recently.
"She never ruled out adoption, and now she's pursuing it. Khloe is saying she'll have a baby regardless of what's happening with her marriage... the adoption will be addressed on [Keeping Up With The Kardashians]," a friend of the Kardashian family told In Touch Weekly magazine.
"She knows she may have to raise this baby alone. Becoming a mother is the most important thing to Khloe — that's her goal in life," the source revealed.
Meanwhile Kardashian, who infamously divorced Kris Humphries after 72-days of marriage, is reportedly urging Khloe to leave Odom in the wake of their marital woes. The new mom reportedly fears that the explosive rumors surrounding the father of two will hurt the Kardashian brand.
"The headlines surrounding Lamar's womanizing and drug addiction are tacky according to Kim, and she doesn't want to be associated with it," a source told RadarOnline.com.
