Khloe Kardashian has been photographed wearing her wedding ring in the wake of her and Lamar Odom's alleged marital woes and a new report claims she is doing so purely for her family's reality TV show.
In recent months the couple, who have been married for four years, has been subject to divorce rumors due to reports of an affair and alleged addiction issues however Kardashian, 29, is still wearing her wedding ring. Sources claim while the reality TV star is intent on saving her strained marriage, the ring is purely for filming purposes.
"They film different scenes for the show and to maintain continuity, she must wear the ring for timeline issues that would come up if it were removed since the show is scripted," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
In August Odom, who is rumored to have separated from Kardashian recently, was mired in a cheating scandal after two women came forward with allegations of an extramarital affair. Within days new reports of an alleged drug addiction surfaced and the NBA star, 33, was later arrested on DUI charges in Los Angeles which has raised concerns about his marriage to Kardashian.
"[Khloe] cries a lot and wants things in her life to get back to normal. She cries for Lamar because she doesn't want to leave him; she loves him too much," a source said.
"She knows he's got a serious addiction, but her dilemma is she can't solve it for Lamar. He's got to solve it on his own. She wants him to to get help and get clean, but it doesn't look like he's trying to," the source added.
Both Kardashian and Odom have remained tight lipped about the ongoing divorce rumors however the E! star has characteristically taken to social networking sites on several occasions in recent weeks, where she has posted cryptic tweets.
"Sometimes you just gotta be your own hero and save your own little heart. Because sometimes, the people you can't imagine living without, can actually live without you," Kardashian wrote via Instagram.
"I see the pain in your pride," Kardashian wrote on Twitter.
