Khloe Kardashian recently tweeted a photo of her new puppy amid reports claiming Kris Jenner has asked the reality TV star and Lamar Odom to put their baby plans on hold.

Kardashian, 28, took to social networking site Instagram Tuesday to share a photo of the new "baby boxer" given to her by Odom, 33. She then tweeted the same picture to her 8 million Twitter followers.

"Look what Lammy got us! Our baby boxer," the excited reality TV star tweeted.

Kardashian's sisters Kendall and Kim appeared to be in awe of the new pet and both took to Twitter to share their reactions.

"@khloekardashian and Lamar's new baby! Weee," Kendall tweeted, and in response, Kim tweeted: "WHAT?!!!??? THEY GOT A BOXER??? AWWWW."

Kardashian has previously expressed her interest in getting a dog and was photographed fawning over puppies in a Los Angeles pet store with her stepfather Bruce Jenner in February.

The new puppy will undoubtedly bring some much needed joy to the reality TV star, who has been struggling to conceive her first child for years. Kardashian and her NBA star husband of three years were recently asked to put their baby plans on hold by Jenner for the sake of business, according to HollywoodLife.com.

"Khloe and Lamar will not be having a child this year for two reasons. Kris Jenner wants Kim to be the focus with her child and all that will bring in endorsements and future shows," a source close to the situation told HollywoodLife.com.

The source also claims that due to Odom's career uncertainty, Jenner has asked that the couple wait to have their first child together.

"Lamar will be unemployed as his contract with the Clippers is up and he will be looking for a job," the source explained.

Prior to Jenner's odd request, Kardashian allegedly had been undergoing fertility treatments in a bid to boost her ability to conceive. It is unclear whether she and Odom have agreed to Jenner's request.
