The clip opened with the developer trying his hands on the game and it appears that Mighty No. 9 is not just any side-scrolling platform game out there.

Mighty No. 9 is inspired from the famous Mega Man series. The story deals with a computer virus which caused robots from all over the world to become aggressive.

The game will put the players as Beck. Beck is the only machine that was able to avoid the virus infection. Using the robot's arsenal of abilities and weapons, players will battle through multiple stages with various bosses challenging at the end. Beck's goal is to "confront the final evil that threatens the planet."

The Kickstarter project raised over $4 million through Kickstarter and PayPal. This huge amount will also help Comcept, the studio in which the game is made, deliver the highly-expected game to different platforms like on Mac, Linux, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, 3DS and PlayStation Vita.
