Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly sold their new Bel Air, Calif. mansion weeks after purchasing it, which may be earning them one million more than they paid for it.
West and Kardashian made headlines for announcing that they were expecting their first child at the end of 2012 while TMZ reported that they began the new year with the purchase of an $11 million plush mansion in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. While Curbed.com reports that the property was actually listed at $9 million, the real estate website also states that the pair recently decided to sell the 9,000-square-foot McMansion in Bel Air for an estimated $10 million.
The news comes on the heels of reports that Kardashian, 32-year-old reality television star, recently sold the house where estranged husband Kris Humphries asked for her hand in marriage.
Kardashian recently sold the 5-bedroom Beverly Hills home to an unknown buyer, according to Trulia.com. Kardashian transferred the home to a limited liability corporation before the off-market transaction was completed.
The reality television star reportedly purchased the home for $4.8 million in 2010. The Beverly Hills, Calif. home served as the residence of both Kardashian and Humphries, who were married for 72 days.
After dating for six months, 28-year-old Brooklyn Nets forward Humphries popped the question to Kardashian in May 2011. Kardashian opened up to People magazine about her thoughts on the NBA player proposing to her in her former home.
"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian told People. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."
Now, Kardashian has moved on from Humphries amid a relationship and pregnancy with her 35-year-old rapper boyfriend.
While Kardashian said she is aware that people have criticized her for getting pregnant by someone other than her legal husband, the reality television star defended her decision to do so by claiming that it was a blessing from God.
"In a perfect world, I would like to be divorced. It's been going on its second year. That's really tough just because I want to move on with my life," Kardashian admitted. "If anyone really knew all of the fertility problems and all of the things I was going through God brings you things at a time when you least expect it. I'm such a planner and this was meant to be. What am I going to do, wait years to get a divorce? I would love one, it's a process."
