Kim Kardashian dyed her famous dark tresses a very light blonde over the weekend.
The reality television star revealed the change to her hair on Saturday in Beverly Hills.
On her way to a friend's barbecue, Kardashian debuted side-swept bangs, long layers, and very light ends with a darker top portion, according to E! News.
It was a family affair as Kardashian's three-month-old baby North also attended the barbecue; as did Kardashian's sister Kourtney and her own children, Mason and Penelope.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star later revealed that Joico's George Papanikolas from Andy Lecompte Salon had lightened her hair.
"She was so pleased and absolutely loved it," Papanikolas told E!
As for the blonde locks, it was not the first time Kardashian's fans have seen the star with lighter tresses. The actress dyed her hair blonde back in 2009 and announce the change via Twitter.
"Blonde hair don't care," Kardashian posted to Instagram at the time. "Hair done nails done everything did."
Lately, Kardashian hinted at trying the look again by posting old photos and writing, "missing my blonde."
Meanwhile, Kardashian shares her daughter with rapper Kanye West and was most recently spotted with him and baby North in Oklahoma for a family member's funeral last month.
Ever since welcoming North on June 15, Kardashian has kept a low profile.
"Kim looks amazing, she really does," said a fan who saw the new mother earlier this summer according to Radar Online. "She's dropped a lot of baby weight already … not to say she still doesn't have a ways to go, but she looked slim and was glowing."
In addition to slowly making her way back into the public eye, Kardashian is "calm" about getting back in shape, according to her trainer Tracy Anderson.
"It's a tough time, and a lot of women feel like it's a huge mountain to climb to get back, but Kim, surprisingly, has had the total opposite reaction to other moms," said the celebrity trainer speaking to Us Weekly. "She's like, 'We're going to be so good. It's fun, I feel great!'"
"She just loves the whole process," added the 38-year-old fitness mogul. "From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she's really just not … She's in baby heaven."
"She's excited to get started, but she's really calm about it," noted Anderson.
