Kim Kardashian Clothing Line to Feature 'Leather Diapers?' (PHOTO)

Fans have had mixed reactions after news broke earlier this week that Kim Kardashian is starting a new clothing line in celebration of her first daughter, North West.

A fashion designer based out of Los Angeles, Lloyd Klein has confirmed that Kim Kardashian may have plans to develop a future children's fashion line. But fans, many of whom were critical of the reality star's fashion decisions while she was pregnant, have offered mixed reaction to the news.

"If it is anything like the KKollection at Sears, and if having any influence made upon it by Kayne (who has no fashion sense), and considering KK's maternity wardrobe the line will be a flop. The name Kardashian really isn't a brand the majority of Americans run out to own," one user wrote on the Daily Mail blog.

Another user promised that "leather diapers" would be a "feature" of the line. But according to Klein, Kardashian may have had something else in mind.

"I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," Klein told Confidenti@l in L.A. "It is very cute to design for babies. [It would be] soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy.

This would not be Kardashian's first attempt at fashion design. The Kardashian sisters attempted to release a clothing line at Sears in 2011. The line, however, did not appear to be a success. It was ranked 6 out of 11 on Beauty Riots "Major Celeb Clothing Line Fails."

The new baby line would likely feature North West as the face of the company. Klein added that North West would be a "great poster child."

Klein also added that he was working on his own line for children.

"I do have a line that I am trying to put together for children, for babies, and it is called Baby Lloyd, but we are not there yet. There is still a way to go," he noted.
