Kim Kardashian is defending herself against claims that she tweeted some negative comments about people from Nigeria.

Kardashian, 32, let it be known that she was not involved in making any questionable comments about the country on the West Coast of Africa.

"I see there's a photo shopped tweet floating around, supposedly I said something about Nigeria," Kardashian tweeted Wednesday. "That was NOT me, or my feelings."

The reality television star and mother-to-be made sure to let her Twitter followers know that she found the alleged tweets sent using her name to be disturbing.

"That fake tweet is very disturbing & I would NEVER EVER tweet something like that," Kardashian wrote on the social media website.

The fictitious message reportedly sent in Kardashian's name spoke negatively about the country of Nigeria.

"Nigeria is such a disgusting country. I couldn't wait to leave," the message read on Twitter. "Scott said their women look like apes and I agree."

Kardashian, 32, is expecting her first child with 35-year-old rapper boyfriend Kanye West next July. She recently spoke about what she feels is the most important aspect of raising her child, who will be of both Armenian and African American descent.

"The most important thing is, the way I want to raise my children is to not see color," Kardashian told BET recently. "Obviously, you want your child to travel the world and experience different races and different cultures everywhere. So that's really important to me."

The reality television star who visited Nigeria last month made it clear that she has friends that are from different cultural backgrounds.

"I have a lot of friends who are of all different nationalities and their children are bi-racial so they've talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect," Kardashian told BET.
