Kim Kardashian Defends Maternity Fashion Choices

Kim Kardashian recently defended herself against those who believed that her maternity fashion could be putting her child at risk.

Kardashian, the 32-year-old reality television star, has been the subject of media headlines that have scrutinized her choices in maternity wear lately. After some publications questioned if Kardashian's clothes were too tight, the expectant mother took to her blog.

"I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that's ridiculous! I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty of room," Kardashian said of her choice to wear a leather skirt. "For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous!"

Although Kardashian is reportedly expecting to give birth in July, she revealed that she is happiest when wearing certain types of clothing.

"I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes," Kardashian wrote on her blog recently. "Happy mommy, happy baby!"

This is not the first time Kardashian has addressed her maternity fashion choices. Earlier this month, the reality star revealed some of her struggles with remaining fashionable while pregnant.

"For me, I've found that I've gained inches and I've gotten wider but my belly hasn't popped yet, so I struggle finding things that don't make me look heavy," Kardashian previously wrote on her Celeb Buzz blog.

"I'm definitely having a lot of fun with my maternity fashion and love trying new things," she continued. "I want to share my pregnancy fashion tips with other expecting moms out there and I know it's different for everyone; some women start showing sooner, others don't start showing until later, but I want to share my own personal experiences with you guys along the way."
