Reality star Kim Kardashian co-hosted "Live! With Kelly" on Monday morning and discussed her pending divorce with Kris Humphries.

Kim admitted she's had a "hard couple of months," but she has not given up on marriage and relationships.

"I'm such a hopeless romantic. I wanted to believe in something so badly. But if you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV -- I'm a smart businesswoman, I would've stayed married longer ... I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash," Kardashian told host Kelly Ripa.

Kim also claimed that she wants "forever love" and felt her marriage to the New Jersey Net power forward Humphries wasn't "right," and she didn't want to "wait years to have the same result."

Kardashian told Ripa that her failed marriage made her less judgmental because no one really knows what another person is going through, not having been in his or her predicament.

"I think I learned that I just really need to rewrite my fairytale," Kardashian told Ripa.

Ripa lauded Kim's bravery for discussing the experience with her.

Kardashian filed for a divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair was married for 72 days before calling it quits.

The couple's doomed relationship from beginning to end has been well documented on Kim's reality shows "Keeping Up With the Kardashian's" and "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."

Kim added that she is now staying with her mother, Kris Jenner, and fellow reality star sisters doing some well-needed "soul searching."

The two female co-hosts went on to discuss celebrity couple Seal and Heidi Klum reportedly calling it quits over the weekend.
