Kris Humphries reportedly told Myla Sinanaj that he was certain that his estranged wife Kim Kardashian cheated on him with Kanye West during their marriage, it has been revealed.
The NBA star confided in Sinanaj, the woman that he briefly dated after separating from Kardashian in October. He allegedly told her that he became suspicious about his estranged wife's relationship with West after Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner would refer to the rapper "a close family friend," according to TMZ.com.
"If he was such a close family friend, why wasn't he invited to the wedding?" Humphries reportedly told Sinanaj according to TMZ.
The 28-year-old New Jersey Nets player also reportedly "felt played" after learning that Kardashian, 31, was dating West just months after leaving him, and he was said to be "visibly upset" when he heard a song by the hip-hop star that mocks him.
Both Humphries and Kardashian are gearing up for their upcoming divorce depositions in which the pair will be questioned separately about their 72-day marriage at the end of June.
Kardashian reportedly served Sinanaj with a subpoena so that her attorney Laura Wasser can question her about her short fling with Humphries.
Humphries has denied having a serious relationship with Sinanaj but Kardashian reportedly believes that the pair was in a committed relationship and has asked Wasser to derive any information from Sinanaj that may help add credence to that theory.
Humphries is insisting on an annulment of their marriage based on fraud, but Kardashain is insisting on a divorce and the pair must battle it out in court.
Humphries maintains that the reality star married him only for publicity and financial gain, but Kardashian insists that she married for love.
Wasser argues that Humphries is being dishonest and critics have accused him of trying to downplay his relationship with Sinanaj, which- if proven to be accurate- could potentially harm him in the upcoming divorce trial.
"It would be pretty hard to claim that you are broken hearted if you are dating [Sinanaj] just two months after the marriage broke up. My client's relationship with Kris goes to heart of his claim against Kim Kardashian and that could hurt him, certainly," Sinanaj's attorney Joe Tacopina told Radar Online.
