Kim Kardashian Marine Corps Ball Date Tonight

Kim Kardashian has reportedly agreed to attend a Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina on Thursday as a special guest.

A regular partygoer, Kardashian was reportedly asked to attend the ball by a member of the event's planning committee.

"She was invited by one of the Marines who is part of the planning committee for the event to attend as a special guest," said an insider speaking to E! News.

The 32-year-old even cleared her busy schedule in order to make an appearance at the event, according to an insider.

"She's in production now, but was able to move things around and make the trip for this," said the source. "She's really looking forward to it."

While Kardashian has not confirmed if she will be attending the ball on Thursday night, she kept fans updated during the day.

"Best workout every [ever] today," wrote the reality television star. "I'm exhausted!"

Marine Corps Balls take place across the country during the month of November in order to honor the United States Marine Corps birthday, Nov. 10, 1775. The event includes a traditional ball as well as a cake-cutting ceremony.

Kardashian will not be the first celebrity to attend such an event. Last year, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis each attended a Marine Corps Ball after being asked by Marines on YouTube.

Corporal Kelsey De Santis invited Timberlake to a Marines Birthday Ball in Richmond, Virginia in a post onto YouTube. After accepting the invitation and attending the ball, Timberlake shared his touching experience.

"I'm writing this out to all of you after attending an event that turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I've ever had," the "Cry Me A River" singer wrote on his website at the time.

The former N'Sync band member was inspired by the passion De Santis has for her career in the Marines as well as her consideration for him during the event.

"I have to tell you, it's not every day that I meet a 23-year-old girl and she's more worried about if I'm having fun or if I'm comfortable," wrote Timberlake. "It hit me all of the sudden that these were the type of people that look after us and our freedom… Humble, concerned for others before themselves… This was the type of person out Marine Corps was building."

One week later, Kunis attended a ball in Greenville, North Carolina alongside Sergeant Scott Moore.
