Kim Kardashian New Book to Become Movie? Reality Star 'The New Jackie Collins'

Kim Kardashian is reportedly set to write a new novel inspired by her life and she is hoping that it will be turned into a film.

The reality TV star, 33, will reportedly release her second ever fiction novel following the 2011 release of "Dollhouse" and it will be inspired by her life as well as her sisters Kourtney and Khloe. The trio, whose drama-filled lives make for entertaining reality TV in real life, are believed to have inspired some of the characters in Kardashian's upcoming novel.

"The book's about the tangled love lives of three sisters with a pushy mum, trying to make it big in Hollywood," a source told the Daily Star UK.

"The storyline centers on an up-and-coming actress called Kai and her sisters – Karissa, who's a wannabe model, and Kayleigh, who's trying to forge a career as a singer," the insider continued. "Their unhappily-married mother Katherine is having an affair with a toyboy half her age..."

Kardashian, who is said to be among the highest paid reality stars in the world, is hoping to start pitching the novel in coming months before turning it into a movie. The Kardashians are renowned for their endless endorsements and lucrative family businesses which include several clothing collections and fragrances.

While their 2010 and 2011 books "Kardashian Konfidential" and "Dollhouse" received mixed reviews, they are reportedly determined to make this upcoming novel a success.

"Kim thinks she can become the new Jackie Collins. She's not the greatest writer but she has a very active imagination and knows the Hollywood scene inside out," the insider revealed.

"The plan is to have the book finished in the coming months so she can start pitching it to publishers – some of whom have already seen a sample chapter and are excited about its potential," the source continued. "It could be the first of many. Kim's even thinking it could get turned into a TV movie or a mini- series one day."
