Kim Kardashian denies the nude picture circulating various websites as being of her. The reality star was beleaguered by websites like TheDirty.com and MediaTakeOut, who ran the story that the lewd photos of Kardashian had been uncovered.
Kim Kardashian was quick to crush the story, which involved a brunette who looks somewhat like her seemingly frying up a breakfast of eggs in the nude. The businesswoman had her spokesman clear up the rumors before they became too pervasive.
"It's not her. You can totally tell. It looks nothing like her," the representative told Mail Online.
The reason Kardashian was so quick to clear up the gossip- she usually doesn't respond to some of the more frivolous claims- could have to do with her recent perception by fans and detractors alike. Ever since news broke of her 72-marriage and subsequent divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries, the socialite has been allegedly been seeking a way to restore her tarnished image.
Kardashian's need to keep publicity around her positive could be supplanted by her new relationship with hip-hop mogul Kanye West.
"Kim and Kanye are making sure that so many aspects of their new relationship are going to be filmed, it will make for great TV!" a source told Radar.com.
The move, confirmed by Kardashian's appearance with monogrammed "K.W." earrings, served to boost the public's perception of her, and simultaneously create a new storyline for her reality show. Not long after the two were seen several times together publically, it was announced that the Kardashians inked a $40 million deal for three more seasons of shows.
At least one person is unhappy about Kardashian's newest beau: soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries. The basketball player is seeking to prove his marriage to the controversial television personality was a sham, and wants an annulment- or at least a publicly broadcasted divorce trial.
"The crux of Kris' case for annulment is that Kim married him under fraudulent pretenses and did it for her reality show. Team Humphries wants to know if producers of the Kardashian reality shows were in contact with Kanye West prior to the new couple dating or going public with their relationship and what those conversations consisted of," an insider told Radar.
