Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her parenting methods and the reality TV star described herself as a "strict" mother to her 1-year-old daughter North West.
On Wednesday Kardashian, who recently married rapper Kanye West, attended an exclusive MailOnline party in Cannes, France where she opened up about motherhood. The E! star's daughter with West turned 1 on Sunday and although she is still a baby, Kardashian admitted that she is "strict" with her daughter.
"I am a strict mother. I'm really fun and playful, but I'm really strict on nap time, and sleeping in her own crib," Kardashian told Daily Mail UK.
"Like Kourtney's style is where her kids sleep in bed with her, so especially with the third baby coming – they're going to need a bigger bed or they're going to need some other rules," she said about her pregnant sister.
While Kourtney, 35, uses attachment parenting methods, Kardashian, 33, prefers detachment parenting. She and West only sleep with their baby girl on weekends which enables them to have private time during the week.
"And maybe on weekends, [North will] come and sleep in the bed with us. But … I'm not crazy strict," she explained.
The pair wed in Italy last month before 200 close friends and family members and insiders claim they have already begun trying for baby number two.
While Kardashian admittedly wants a sibling for baby Nori, she has no immediate plans to follow in her mother Kris Jenner's footsteps.
"I hope so," Kardashian said about having another baby. "I grew up with a lot of siblings so I know what that's like. I don't know if I would really follow in my mum's footsteps and have six; that's a little crazy."
The reality star has four sisters and one brother and while she enjoyed growing up in a big family, she and West may stop at baby number two.
"I don't know how they did it – they were in their 20s and they weren't really thinking right!" Kardashian said of her parents.
"I like a big family and I would definitely like one more and see how that goes," she said.
