The name of the kitten seems to have come from the lead single off of Kardashian's boyfriend, Kanye West's latest album. His new album is called "Cruel Summer" and the lead single off of his new work is "Mercy."

The latest news from the reality TV star comes following some controversial comments by her regarding cancer patients. Kardashian outraged some after allegedly comparing the difficulties surrounding her divorce to a cancer patient.

The alleged comments led to some angered fans calling for people to boycott her show on the E! network, which features hit show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," according to noseyperez.com.

The controversial comments came when Kardashian was speaking to a British publication. She was attempting to explain how difficult filing for divorce was after just 72 days being married to husband Kris Humphries.

"But I think that, with any decisions in life- like, I spoke to a girl today who had cancer and we were talking about how this is such a hard thing for her, but it taught her a big lesson on who her friends are and so much about life. She's 18. And I was like, that's how I feel," Kim told The Guardian.

Those comments sparked a backlash from some who took to social media networks to rebuke what Kardashian had said, and to express their strong disagreement that she should try to relate her divorce to cancer.
