Kim Kardashian has decided to end the ensuing battle between her and ex-husband Kris Humphries, after she reported a psychic made it apparent to her that the marriage was over.

In a new episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, the two sisters turn to psychic John Edward, after Kim decides she wants to communicate with her deceased father. Kourtney, who was skeptical of making the visit, was soon as captivated as Kim by the psychic when he revealed information they were not expecting.

According to USA Today, the most recent episode was filmed sometime in September of last year. The psychic session started with recounted memories of the girls and their father. The psychic went on to identify Kourtney's pregnancy, which at the time had not been announced, although she later made a public announcement stating that she was in fact expecting.

The psychic then went into questioning about Kim's last divorce from music producer Damon Thomas, asking her if she had learned anything from that divorce, to which she replied that she had.

Kim confessed later in the episode that her decision to end her 72- day marriage was derived after Edward's questions about the divorce.
"I honestly feel like I can't do this anymore with Kris. I feel like I got into this way too fast and I don't want to be married anymore," she said with tears to Kourtney.

Kardashian announced her divorce from Kris Humphries in November, in the same month that Kourtney announced her pregnancy. The short marriage later became a matter of huge controversy, as Humphries cited that the marriage had been a publicity stunt.
