Kim Kardashian recently confirmed that she is preparing leave the world of reality TV once and for all and her mother Kris Jenner is subsequently furious.

In an interview with DuJour magazine, Kardashian, who has made a substantial living off of reality TV, explained that the father of her unborn child Kanye West. Since then, he has helped her appreciate her privacy and therefore her priorities have changed.

"I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life, It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again," Kardashian told Dujour magazine.

"My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I'm ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I'm realizing everyone doesn't need to know everything. I'm shifting my priorities," she added.

Jenner, who helped create "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," was reportedly unhappy after fans began questioning whether 31-year-old Kardashian was leaving the popular E! show. Shortly after the interview caused a Twitter frenzy, Kardashian attempted to clarify her comments and insisted that she will remain on the show until season 10.

"I know that many of you have read the DuJour Magazine interview I just did. In the article, I was asked about continuing on with Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kardashian wrote on her personal blog.

"As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10," she continued.

Critics suspect that Kardashian may have been pressured to clarify her interview comments by Jenner, 56, as a form of damage control. The reality TV star reportedly still wants to leave the show and Jenner, who is "flipping out," blames West, 35.

"In spite of what Kim wrote today, she does want to quit the show, [and] Kris is flipping out," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"[Kris] thinks the show will be nothing without Kim, and she is pissed at Kanye [West] for steering Kim towards quitting. It is a really screwed up situation over there right now," the source added.
