Kim Kardashian Talks Making Kanye West A Scapegoat for Vogue Cover

Kim Kardashian is admitting that she has used her fiance Kanye West as a scapegoat when trying to hide secrets from her family.

Kardashian, 33, and West, the 36-year-old rap mogul, recently appeared with their 9-month-old daughter North West on the cover of Vogue magazine. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star revealed that she kept the honor a secret from her sisters, despite their close relationship.

However, the reality television star said she was able to keep the secret from her sisters by blaming West.

"So, it was this top-secret mission trying to keep out all of my sisters and everyone," Kardashian said on Late Night With Seth Meyers. "They were a little suspicious but I just said Kanye was shooting something at my mom's house and it was really private, and just kind of blamed it on him ... I don't keep secrets!"

When asked how often she blames West for suspicious activities that take place in her life Kardashian told host Seth Meyers, "I do that a little too often."

While Vogue has received some criticism for putting a reality television star on the cover of its highly esteemed fashion publication, Anna Wintour, the magazine's editor-in-chief, defended the decision.

"There's barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven't been able to master, and for good reason," Wintour wrote in the April Vogue editor's letter. "Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world's spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."

Kardashian expressed her excitement for the opportunity to appear in Vogue.

"This is such a dream come true," she tweeted. "Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover!"

West also tweeted his appreciation by writing, "#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine."
