Kim Kardashian Trips Over Heels at MTV EMAs (VIDEO)

Kim Kardashian laughed off a tripping incident that occurred Sunday at the MTV EMAs in Germany after skillfully avoiding what otherwise could have been a harmful fall.

The reality TV personality took to the stage wearing a bizarre black Stephane Rolland dress, which featured a long train and ruffled hem line, to present the award for Best Song Award, which went to singer Carly Rae Jepsen. As she approached the crowd, her high heels appeared to lose their grip and Kardashian took a slight tumble before brushing off the incident with a giggle.

"What are those slippery shoes you have on?" rapper Ludacris asked the E! star backstage.

"Oh stop, I'm clumsy," Kardashian joked.

Kardashian, 31, attended the annual event with her boyfriend Kanye West, 35, and tweeted a series of photos from the awards show to her 16 million Twitter followers.

"I'm wearing the coolest Stephane Rolland dress for tonight's MTV Awards! Hope you guys like it!" Kardashian tweeted about her unusual gothic style dress.

"Hanging out at the Ema's with @ritaora & @taylorwsift13," she boasted in a separate tweet with reference to singer Taylor Swift and U.K. pop star Rita Ora.

Kardashian also posted a series of romantic photographs with West, although the reality star did not appear to be wearing her diamond pinky ring.

She had been spotted wearing the new sparkler on her pinky finger in recent weeks, fueling rumors that West may have proposed after just 10 months of dating.

"It's just a fab pinky ring," Kardashian told Life & Style magazine at Midori's Green Halloween party, which she hosted in NYC on Oct. 27. "It's from [jeweler] Lorraine Schwartz. Don't read into it too much, too many rumors; it's just a great ring. That's it."

It was also previously claimed that the couple was planning a $20 million wedding, although sources claim that these reports are inaccurate.
