Internationally-known Christian artists Salvador, Casting Crowns, Israel Houghton, and Newsboys will be headlining this summer’s Kingdom Bound Christian music festival but are only the tip of a much larger iceberg.

Other artists who will be performing at this year’s festival include DecembeRadio, Downhere, Fireflight, Hawk Nelson, Jason Upton, Lenny LeBlanc, Matthew West, Natalie Grant, Paul Paloche, Pillar, Sanctus Real, Skillet, and a slew of other musical guests.

"Salvador will kick things off with a Latin-tinged 'praise party,' Casting Crowns features men and women in a band that will have everyone singing along, Israel Houghton's style brings together people from different races and ethnicities, and Newsboys, like U2, put on a rock show that's quite the spectacle," says Kingdom Bound spokesman Mark Weber, “so I expect this year's Kingdom Bound will appeal to a very broad audience.”

Now in its 23rd year, Kingdom Bound is one of North America’s largest and longest running events of its kind and typically attracts about 55,000 people from all over the United States and Canada for four days of “faith, fun, and fellowship” through concerts and over 50 seminars.

“I've enjoyed several years of great family memories at Kingdom Bound: up close and personal times with lots of Christian artists, wonderful times of inspired worship, and rides, rides, rides,” says worship leader and songwriter Paul Baloche. “And we always manage to spend at least a half a day at nearby Niagara Falls. Awesome!”

This year’s event will take place Aug. 2-5 at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort in Darien Center, N.Y., halfway between Buffalo and Rochester.

In addition to the more than 80 concerts and seminars, Kingdom Bound attendees will get access to Darien Lake's more than 40 rides and attractions including a water park.

"This year, people are being extra careful with how they spend their money,” notes Weber. "Staying on grounds for the entire festival is a great value for your vacation."

Tickets for the event are currently on sale, with prices expected to increase after Mar. 31.

Speakers for this year’s even include Wes Aarum, Keith Davis, Jerry Gillis, Bob Lenz, Ryan Loos, Justin Lookadoo, David Nasser, Dr. Matthew Sleeth, and Brett Ullman.
