Kirk Cameron's 'Unstoppable' Documentary Now Available on DVD

Kirk Cameron's "Unstoppable" documentary that investigates the reason for evil existing in the world is now available on DVD.

The movie premiered at a special event held at Liberty University and was inspired by the death of the actor's close friend who suffered from cancer at the age of 15.

"The question of where is God and why does he let bad things happen to good people is one that wrecks people's faith. If you go through the history of the world, that is one of the top five questions of all time for everybody whether you're a Jew, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or Atheist," said Cameron to The Christian Post regarding the film.

"If there is a God, where is he when children get cancer or when a Tsunami hits or when there is a school shooting? That's the kind of thing that destroys many people's faiths. But for me, going through the process of making "Unstoppable" and trying to find the answer to that question really made my faith stronger because I found that answer. And I'm going to share that answer with everyone through the film," he added.

The film explores this theme by using the Bible and re-enacting several stories including Adam in the Garden and Noah's Ark. By navigating through the scriptures Kirk illustrates the origin of evil and the good that can come from it.

"Unstoppable" broke independent film records by grossing over $3 million during its two select screenings. It sold more than 260,000 tickets and was only in select theaters on two week days.

The DVD offers extras including a 13-minute behind the scenes featurette and Warren Barfield's "The Time Is Now" music video. More information on the DVD can found at www.unstoppablethemovie.com. It is available for purchase and is priced at $14.99.
