RPG 'Blade: Sword of Elysion' Launched on iOS (VIDEO)

ActionSquare and 4:33 Creative Lab have just launched the free RPG "Blade: Sword of Elysion" for iOS devices in the US.

South Korean game developer Action Square and its publisher 4:33 Creative Lab announced the release of their hack-n-slash role playing game, "Blade: Sword of Elysion" for iOS, a free-to-play game previously exclusive to Korea.

"Blade: Sword of Elysion," which is set in several levels of dungeon environments, challenges players to liberate the world from darkness. Players choose a hero from three character options: an assassin, a mage, or a warrior, to complete dungeon levels via a virtual joystick to move across the environment.

The controls also include several buttons for the main attack and automatic attack combos, as well as to perform other secondary abilities.

Moving through the dungeon levels, players can earn points to level up. Leveling up also gives players SP, which they can use to upgrade their chosen hero's skills. Along the game, there will be pieces of new gear they can pick up, together with a host of smaller items they can either sell, use, or fuse together to upgrade existing items in their inventory.

Even after a dungeon level has been completed, players can still go back and replay the same level with a higher difficulty setting, or they may opt to clear the difficulty level and play in auto combat mode.

Using premium currency in the game, players can clear a dungeon to receive added rewards, which are claimable via auto combat and auto clear modes that allow players to jump up a level without playing it.

"Blade: Sword of Elysion" is both single player and multiplayer, the latter taking place as matches or arena combats. Players can also take their hero to fight wave-based battles in infinity dungeons.

4:33 Creative Lab has also announced its intention to bring "Blade: Sword of Elysion" to Android devices in the near future.
