Kourtney Kardashian has denied explosive claims recently made a Los Angeles-based model which have ultimately raised questions about the paternity of her first child Mason Disick.
Michael Girgenti, who worked with the 32-year-old reality TV star on a 944 magazine photo shoot in 2008, recently told a U.S. tabloid that he believes he is the biological father of Kardashian's 3-year-old son. The Chicago native, 26, claims he was intimate with Kardashian nine months ahead of Mason's birth.
"They did not exchange contact information. Since the August 20, 2008, on-set photo shoot, Kourtney never spoke with him, saw him nor met him again," Kardashian's attorney told InTouch magazine.
"Kourtney has never been alone with him, and Kourtney certainly has never physically/intimately been with Mr. Girgenti," he went on describing Girgenti's claims as a "preposterous and an outrageous lie."
Girgenti says he went public with his paternity claims simply because he wants a DNA test. Kardashian maintains that her long term boyfriend Scott Disick is Mason's biological father.
"After he was born and I saw photos of him [and] I began to wonder," Girgenti revealed.
He reportedly hopes that going public will "finally push them into taking the DNA test."
"I would definitely want to acknowledge Mason if he's my kid," he said. "He deserves to know his real father."
Kardashian and Disick welcomed the birth of their second child Penelope Scotland in July, almost three years after the birth of Mason. The mother of two previously gushed over her family's latest addition.
"Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her," Kardashian gushed to Us Magazine.
Kardashian and Disick, 28, who have dated for six years, expressed their excitement shortly after welcoming the birth of Penelope.
"Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," Kardashian said in a statement to the E! network.
