Kristen Bell Pregnant, Bares Baby Bump

A heavily pregnant Kristen Bell has debuted her burgeoning belly via Twitter this week.

The actress and dog lover posted a photo of her pet resting on her bare stomach on the social media site on Thursday, along with the caption, "Some people are more excited than others about the baby filling."

Bell, 32, is expecting her first child with fiancé Dax Shepard. The actors had been dating since 2007 when they became engaged in January 2010.

A representative for the couple confirmed Bell's pregnancy in October.

"They're so excited, they're both ecstatic," the celebrity representative told People magazine. "They can't wait to become parents."

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show" earlier this month, Bell joked, "I'm about 400 pounds-months pregnant."

Bell joins a long list of other expectant parents in Hollywood. Other expectant A-listers include Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Amber Rose, and Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, among others.

Meanwhile, Bell and Shepard have stated that their wedding plans are not important during their appearance on "Larry King Now" in August.

When the show's host Larry King asked the couple if they had planned on having a family, both actors replied enthusiastically, "Yes!"

"We'll have them out of wedlock," said 37-year-old Shepard at the time. "We're not worried about that."

"It doesn't really bother us," agreed Bell.

"We'll apply the appropriate paperwork for wills and security and such, but when he gave [the ring] to me… that meant more to me than proclaiming it in front of a group of people," she added. "That doesn't feel very significant to me. The moment that we shared when he proposed felt like an agreement."

Native to Huntington Woods, Michigan, Bell was raised in a Christian home. Describing his fiancée, Shepard said Bell was a "good girl" while speaking to Playboy magazine in September.

"She grew up very Christian, went straight to college, did great in school and started work immediately," said the actor. "She's charitable and philanthropic and rescues dogs," he gushed.
