Kristen Stewart has apologized again for having cheated on boyfriend Rob Pattinson this week.

The 22-year-old actress initially offered a mea culpa in July for having an affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

While promoting her new movie "On The Road," Stewart recapped the summer's events.

"I apologize to everyone for making then so angry," said the actress, speaking to Newsweek. "It was not my intention."

Stewart received both praise and criticism following the admitted mistake in her personal life.

"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated," the "Twilight" star added.

Furthermore, Stewart noted that her focus is firmly planted on her career.

"I don't care [what others think about me,]" the actress said, according to Newsweek. "It doesn't keep me from doing my [work]."

At the time the scandal made headlines, Stewart offered this statement:

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

It was a doubly surprising move, as Stewart's apology for cheating was also the first time the actress publicly acknowledged her relationship with Pattinson.

Pattinson, 26, had been dating Stewart for over three years before the scandal. The "Twilight" co-stars were rumored to have been ready to take their relationship to the next level before Stewart's apology, according to Us Weekly.

"Friends of Robert have told us that this was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and he was actually very close to proposing when he heard about the affair," said Dina Sansing of Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, it is unknown how long the affair between Stewart and Sanders, 41, lasted.

The director is married to Liberty Ross, who played Stewart's mother in "Snow White."
