Kristen Stewart has been named atop Forbes' highest-paid actress list, beating Angelina Jolie and raking in $34.5 million in one year.
From May 2011 to May 2012, the "Twilight" star earned more than Cameron Diaz, who came in second with $34 million over the same time frame.
Additionally, Stewart is the youngest woman on Forbes' list by 16 years. The feat is credited to her role as Bella Swan in the iconic "Twilight" film series.
"Suddenly, the star becomes indispensable and the studio has to pay up," Forbes explained. "That's why Kristen Stewart has vaulted to the top of our annual list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood."
Her two co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, received the same pay for their roles in "Twilight."
Stewart also appears in this year's hit "Snow White and the Huntsman." Her relationship with her "Twilight" costar Rob Pattinson is a constant source of media speculation.
Rounding out the top five were actresses Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron. Veteran actress Julia Roberts came in sixth place, according to Forbes, while Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Wiig, and Meryl Streep followed.
Lastly, Jennifer Aniston barely made the list, earning $11 million.
Forbes pointed out that overall, women in Hollywood make far less than men in earnings.
"The 10 women who make up our list earned a total of $200 million compared to the $361 million brought in by our top 10 men," the magazine noted.
The publication calculated the earnings based on upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements, and advertising work after talking to managers, agents, lawyers, and other Hollywood insiders.
On Facebook, many users sounded off about Stewart's earnings.
"No way she can't show any emotion other than depression," wrote Nick, referring to Stewart's somber role in "Twilight."
Dawn agreed, posting "[Stewart] absolutely does not [deserve to be Hollywood's highest-paid actress.] Very boring ho hum person trying to act."
"She looks the look," wrote Hal. "Good job Kristen."
Jean posted, "I think anyone who follows their dream and gets paid for it deserves it!"
