Kristen Stewart New Movies 2015: Actress in Marvel Movie? Captain America a Possibility?

Following the frenzied news about Kristen Stewart quitting Hollywood, the "Twilight" star is once again making rounds in the rumor mills – this time concerning her interest in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A report from Screen Rant cited the interview of "Snow White and The Huntsman" star with Yahoo! Movies in which she discussed her new role in the recently released movie with Julianne Moore, "Still Alice."

The conversation segued to reveal that the 24-year-old actress "wants to keep things unpredictable" and is "always willing to take a chance" in her career as an actor.

"I love watching those movies," she told ScreenRant. "I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance."

After noting her involvement in The Huntsman, the "Panic Room" star implied that the movie could be "a jumping off point for a superhero role."

To be specific, she named one particular franchise that she would want to join.

"I'm sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean? … It would just have to be the right thing," said the "Camp X-Ray" star.

Anthony Vieira of Screen Rant meanwhile dismissed the statement as rather like an "offhand remark than anything else." However, if there's some truth behind those words, then perhaps the "studio could be listening."

There have been a lot of reports pointing out various stars eyeing for a role in the superhero cinematic trend. One of which is Mark Wahlberg who said that he'd want to take on the mask of Iron Man after its long-time actor, Robert Downey Jr.
